Get your SiFly ready for the season

It’s getting sunnier in Europe and we bet you are already itching to ride your SiFly. Before you go, here are some tips for setting up your eFoil for the ultimate experience this summer!  

Update 
First off, don’t forget to update. We have recently released our newest update, featuring plenty of new features. We recommend you upgrade to the latest software to be able to enjoy our Ready to Fly alert, Live Ride stats and much more. You can check out our YouTube video tutorials on how to update all components manually. In case you are still having trouble, our support team is always available to help, so get in touch!  
 
Check your Powercell  
We always recommend you keep your battery stored with capacity between 30-70%. That said, please make sure that it hasn’t fallen below the critical 8% level. To charge the battery, don’t forget to place the magnet on the magnet pad and keep it there all the while it’s charging. Our latest update features a new blinking pattern to help you discern the battery percentage. If charging is in progress, you will see a blue light in between the green signals. Once the battery is completely charged, the fan of the charger will stop spinning and the battery LED will show solid green.  

Before riding  
Make sure you apply dielectric gel to the connectors and TefGel to the inserts to avoid corrosion. You will find both gels in your RC case. If not, tell us. We will send you some.  
 
Stay Safe 
Make sure to fall to the side to avoid injuring yourself on the propeller/ wings. Do not touch the propeller while spinning. Check for underwater rocks or objects, before eFoiling in the area. Our Remote Controller floats, but make sure you wrap the wristband around your hand so that you don’t lose it in the water.
